Chili is an important horticultural crop which contribute substantially to the national income of Indonesia. As demand chili continues increase, exploration local superior varieties from various regions in Indonesia become one priorities development new cultivars. This research aimed study morphology and phylogenetic relationship cultivars different parts Sumatra, The was conducted at Teaching Research Farm, Faculty Agriculture University Jambi, May through November 2021. Five (Loker Telun Berasap Ahang Adro Kerinci Regency, Jambi Province, Kopay West Sumatra Awe Udeng Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam Province) were evaluated for their morphological traits relationship. trial arranged a randomized block design with 5 replicates, each replicate consisted plots.
